We were part of the January, 2004 Baja caravan. We had a great time and made many new friends. The roads were a bit interesting at times, but if you an experienced RV'er, this should not be a problem. Barry and Vanda were great Wagonmasters and always willing to go the extra mile for us. It was FUN!

This was our third Mexican caravan trip. We enjoyed your caravan the most. You both did an excellent job as wagonmasters. It is not an easy job keeping so many different personalities all happy. The whole group were great.
Well always remember this trip and the wonderful folks we travelled with!
You made a very special trip easy & enchanting. From the rough stretches to the smooth, it was challenging & rewarding. A great group of new friends full of joy and laughter, help when needed, guidance and affection. Sorry to see it ended, but ready for the home corral. Best to you both!

We enjoyed our Adventure with you two, plus our new extended family of Baja travellers. It was like a travelling party each day. We especially loved the pristine beaches, and whenever I hear "On the Road Again", I will think of you!!

What we are very grateful for is that we travelled on an escourted tour with others and, as first timers into Mexico, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND others to do the same. Without the tour, our trip could have been an utter disaster. We certainly met other lone travellers who were having a miserable time.

This has been an absolutely fabulous trip. We've seen fantastic sights and beaches, made some wonderful new friends, and developed a real respect for the Mexican truck drivers. We loved this trip, all of it - especially the Mexican children dancing, the whales, the Mexican food, all the different towns like Mulege, and the totally different landscape from where we live! Thanks.

Thanks for an exciting and unforgettable month. You took us to places we would never have tried on our own. Your year-round diligence in planning the trip and writing your Road Log allowed us to enjoy the trip even more. John's big highlight was his ATV ride up the arroyo. For Colleen, it was the moment of realization that we were surrounded by hundreds of whales in our small boat. For both of us, we count the team dinner as special - everyone participated and enjoyed it. And let's not forget the dolphins, The children and young people folkdancing, the clam boil on the beach ...
"Who needs to go with a caravan"?, some friends asked. Well, what would we have ever done without all this "family" support? The experiences that we shared = adventure, guidance, and caring were beyond anything we could have ever expected. Thanks to all! That Road Log "bible" was forever open on our laps. So well done. Your orientations and itinerary left little to be desired. One of our most enjoyable trips ever - anywhere!
We went on your January 2004 Baja and Back tour. We are still in touch with several of the people in our group. We met some great fellow travelers and enjoyed your style of tour. Now for the "Great News". We have been checking your website from time to time and see that you now offer Mazatlan including Copper Canyon. Please sign us up for the November 2006 tour.
You guys are ALWAYS the most easygoing and fun-loving caravan group we get staying here!

The weather at the start limited some activities, however we were introduced to a new country in ways we never would have had the chance to experience on our own. We leave with great memories which will increase all of our new adventures. Thank you for this new insight to life!

What a wonderful experience for our first caravan. We travelled with a great group of people and made new friends from all over USA and Canada. We are planning to stay in contact with many of them. You gave us a wonderful insight into Baja. The tour was everything we expected and more. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.
When we first started thinking about coming to the Baja, we went on the internet and checked out the caravans. We chose yours for various reasons, and have not been disappointed. This has been a fantastic adventure for us. It goes without saying that the sceneryhas been awesome and the excursions exciting, but for us it has been the educational aspect of the trip. We have now seen a glimpse of "Old Mexico". The people here are a hardy breed. We take so much for granted that these folks see as luxury. What has really made the trip for us is the way the people in our caravan have come together. 28 days ago, we came together as strangers, and now we part as good friends.
What a way to start off our retirement! A trip of a lifetime! Your caravan trip was wonderful. It was so much more than we expected. The Baja has so many sights to see and experience.
Suddenly, it's our last day of a long anticipated, and wonderful, once in a lifetime adventure. We had hoped for beaches and deserts and mountains .... but we got BEACHES, DESERTS and MOUNTAINS!!! Every day, every corner brought sights we'll never forget.
We had the most wonderful time in the Baja. We started out as 34 strangers and ended up as 34 close friends. The sights, sounds, and tastes of Mexico are something that we will never forget. I show the pictures to everyone and tell of the adventures and misadventures to all who will look & listen. We plan to return someday and maybe get a palapa on a beach and enjoy the country and the marvelous people that make this an adventure of a lifetime.
Our objective was to see the Baja Peninsula - and we could never have seen what we did without you. What a diverse and lovely place! We had never seen an oasis before! Polly, you were so knowledgeable about the language and culture. Jim spoke so easily to everyone, and was so consistantly calm. We particularly were impressed with your ability to deal with over 30 people of diverse backgrounds and make it all work without overreacting.
This was a wonderful trip. This was the best of the four caravans we have been on. Jim & Polly did a great job. Thanks
So many memories - the whales spouting right next to the boat, the mother & baby whales "playing" with us, riding the four wheelers through the arroyo and swimming in the pool by the waterfall, the entertainment on the Caborey cruise, and many more.

We have travelled with two other caravan companies in the past: none has impressed us as the Baja & Back experience. From the very first day of checking in to the very last day of goodbyes did we encounter such a wonderful group. Memories will live forever and friends made will be remembered for a long time. Please keep up the good work........
Thank you for a great journey. We couldn't have done it without you. Your expertise and knowledge has given us enough confidence to head to the mainland on our own. We had our reservations about joining a caravan, from stories of poor experiences from others, but any aprehensions we had were completely unnecessary after our experiences with Baja & Back. You have made what we thought impossible come true - to experience RVing down the Baja & camping on some truly magnificant beaches. Not only that, but to be able to travel virtually stress-free in a relaxed atmosphere, playing follow the leader. We started this trip worried about security, water, fruits, vegetables. By day 3, no longer had any worries. This was a trip of a lifetime. The scenery was beautiful, the beaches great & the people of Mexico were so nice. I lost track of time & days, everything was so enjoyable. This was a great group of fellow travellers & we were so lucky to meet each & every one of them. This trip is a lots of work for you guys, but you make it seem effortless. Thank you for all the hard work you did to make this so wonderfully enjoyable.
This has been a marvellous trip for both of us - much more fun than I expected. All your planning went very smoothly, but the best part was what you couldnt plan - the great interactions with our marvellous travelling companions. We now have so many new friends, all of who we hope to see again. Some of the best moments for me were ones that weren't part of your published itinerary: swimming with the whale sharks in La Paz, seeing the jumping Manta rays and the snorkelling north of Playa Norte! Thanks so much to the two of you - and to our ever-cheerful, ever-helpful Tailgunners!
There are not enough words to tell you what this trip has meant to us. Never have we been with a group of people that has, and always will be, as special as this group. I have felt so safe with you and everyone else that has been with us. The land we have seen and the beauty along the way will always be a beautiful memory in our hearts and mind. The concern for us, when Buddy became ill and had to fly home, will never be forgotten. May you always be safe on your journeys through the coming years. God bless.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 27 days travelling the Baja with your caravan. Baja and Back ran a well planned, well executed tour. It's been a blast! Right from Day 1 in San Diego to the end of the trip in Estero Beach. We will continue to relive the trip over & over againas we recount our adventures to our family & friends. If we had to change anything about the trip, we would change nothing, nothing, nothing! Your expert guidance on the road, our zany caravan members, the great people of Mexico & even the great (ha ha) roads, has made it all the more memorable.
We truly had a marvellous time! I think we were blessed with a wonderful group of folks to travel with - as I said one evening, "You all have been a great blind date." We had a lot of very special people in this group!
